The Merino is the Coronet's curly cousin: long curly hair like a Texel, plus a single crown rosette on the forehead.
As with all the curly long-hairs, the ringlets need regular gentle combing and a clean, dry cage to prevent matting. A trim keeps a pet Merino easy to manage.
They are typically calm and affectionate, and their soft curls make them one of the most huggable-looking breeds.
