Bored pigs are unhappy pigs. Simple, safe toys and enrichment, most of them free from your recycling.
Guinea pigs are curious and active, and a bare cage gets dull fast. The good news: most of the best enrichment is free, made from things you already have.
A tunnel or two for zoomies, a hay ball or forage toy, and a willow chew or apple-wood sticks for safe chewing. Skip anything with small parts, bells, or plastic they can gnaw off.
Space, a friend, and daily floor time. A big cage, a bonded companion, and a safe, guinea-pig-proofed run on the floor beat any toy in the shop. Rotate a few toys so they stay novel.
