Short-haired · Low grooming
The Teddy has a short, dense, springy coat that stands up off the body like a plush toy, thanks to a genetic quirk that kinks the hair shaft. No rosettes, just an even, fuzzy pelt.
Low grooming needs, though the dense coat can hold onto debris, so a weekly brush keeps it fresh. Their skin can be a touch dry, so avoid over-bathing.
Teddies are often described as especially affectionate and docile, and that teddy-bear texture makes them irresistible to hold.
