The Rex has a short, dense, woolly coat with no long guard hairs, so it feels plush and slightly springy, similar to a Teddy but from a different gene. It is one of the larger breeds.
Grooming is simple thanks to the short coat. Like the Teddy, the skin can dry out, so bathe only when truly needed.
Rex pigs are typically gentle and cuddly, and their size and easy coat make them a popular family pet.
