We are a family in the Houston area who fell hard for long-haired guinea pigs, the Peruvians, Silkies and Texels with the ridiculous fluffy coats. CavyCrew is where we put everything we have learned keeping them happy.
You will find honest care guides, the gear we actually use, a food checker that answers 'can guinea pigs eat that?' for over a hundred foods, a cage size calculator, and a page for every breed. When we have piggies looking for homes, they go on the Available Now page, and we help connect local families rather than shipping animals.
We are not a shop and we do not sell animals. We are a connector and a resource. If a guide here saves one pig a stressful trip to the vet, it has done its job. Poke around, and say hello.
